SS: Sickle cell anaemia (a type of sickle cell disease)

CC: Sickle cell Disease

SC: Sickle cell Disease

Having children with Sickle cell disease takes a toll on parents and has fractured a lot of marriages, please know your genotype today to avoid painful situations for your children and yourselves.

  • Eat healthy balanced meals
  • Engage in light and not strenuous activities
  • Avoid extreme temperatures, too hot or too cold environments
  • Drink a lot of water
  • Do not smoke or drink alcohol
  • Take your routine medications as prescribed 
  • Regulate your emotions, and avoid both Physical and emotional stress.

Thrive! You deserve to achieve as much as anyone else.
